OK, so for those sparky loyal followers – the subject, at the minute, is the delicate firefly.
It’s a sure sign of Spring, after the recent and current chill, great news. Bring it on.
Amazingly, first seen 5 minutes ago in Pelekas.
A very welcome and sweet firefly on the roadside up past Jimmy’s taverna.
Hurrah!
Now, how’s that for an early surprise……beat that!

OK it MUST officially be Spring, heading to summer. The very first firefly has been spotted. A single beauty seen on the lane at the side of Jimmy’s Taverna in Pelekas.
No wonder people maybe thought that they were fairies, they are just totally magical.
A friend saw a single firefly in Potamos and we wondered if it was the same one, it was actually Louise who had that idea!
Believe it or not it was on April 4th, very very early.
Any road up, it’s the end of Winter thank goodness. Friends are gathering for Easter, should be a good one, me thinks, certainly feel more relaxed than the crazy start of last year AND the weather forecast is lookin goood, yeeeha!
